Slowly add in the water as you mix the dough. Keep adding until you get the right consistency. Only use what you need; you might not have to use it all! You can knead the dough until it becomes soft and smooth.
Add in any optional ingredients such as a dash of your favorite spice, glitter, or dried flowers.
It is ready to play with! When you are finished, store it in a sealed container.
Notes
Wait for the playdough to cool down for a few minutes before adding in more flour if it looks too runny. It takes a bit for the water to absorb fully. It is better to wait instead of adding too much! Too much flour will make your playdough crumble. Too little flour will make it runny.
If the playdough feels dried out the next time you use it, you can add in a little bit of oil to help get it soft again.
