This website is built on Wordpress, which is the best platform for bloggers.

I am currently using a custom theme designed by Aimee at Anchored Design.
Other themes I’ve used and loved include 17th Avenue Designs.
Website Hosting
A lot of new bloggers start with Blue Host because it is so incredibly affordable (cheap?). This is what I did and it was perfectly “fine” for me in the first year or so of my business. After that point, I definitely switched and was much happier with a better host.
Email List
For emailing your readers, you’ll want to work with a reputable email service. I like and use Convert Kit and they have a free plan for up to 1,000 subscribers.
