Did you know that some backpacks contain harmful chemicals that can leach into your child’s skin? Yikes! As parents, we’re always on the lookout for ways to keep our little ones safe and healthy. That’s why non-toxic backpacks are becoming a must-have for ingredient-savvy mamas like you and me.
In this guide, I’m sharing safer, stylish, and sustainable backpacks that’ll have your kids excited for their next adventure, whether it’s a trip to the park or their first day of school. Let’s dive in!
What to Look for in a Low-Tox Kids Backpack
The process isn’t perfect, but my selection criteria for this article was based on what I would realistically find online + what would hold up to a little toddler or a schoolyear. For me, that meant deprioritizing synthetic-exterior backpacks, brands that promote the water-durability, and anything that just didn’t seem to make sense for children.
There still aren’t that many Oeko-Tex backpacks out there, so the selection was somewhat limited. However, I did find some better brands that I would personally feel good about using!
