Amazon Prime Day is one of the most anticipated shopping events of the year, offering cart-worthy deals on lots of products… from non-toxic baby products and pregnancy must-haves to baby toys, household favorites, and style and beauty. And really, with millions and millions of products sold on Amazon, the deals can extend to almost anything you can think of.

As a long-time Amazon partner (and former employee!), I’m here to guide you on how to make the most out of Prime Day and score the best deals. Here’s everything you need to know to shop like a pro!

1. Get a Prime Membership

First things first, you need to be an Amazon Prime member to access Prime Day deals. If you’re not already a member, consider signing up for a 30-day free trial to take advantage of the savings. (Yes, you could cancel afterwards if you wanted to.) A Prime membership also includes other benefits like free two-day shipping, access to Prime Video, and more. I’ve had mine for YEARS and renew it every year because of the added conveniences.

If you aren’t a Prime member, you can view the Prime Day deals, but you won’t be able to access them. Prime Day deals are exclusive to Amazon Prime members. (Grab your free 30-day trial here!)

It’s easy to get carried away with all the amazing deals, so set a budget and stick to it. Prioritize the items you need most and avoid impulse buys to make the most of your budget. Though I am passionate about sharing deals and savings with you, I always want you to shop responsibly.

It’s also VERY easy to grab a deal from a brand you aren’t that familiar with because it can look great online, only to find yourself returning the product the day it arrives. (Been there, done that!) Try and shop mindfully and preferably, stick to our recommendations as much as possible because I have been looking at these products year in and year out and get a lot of product feedback from my readers/social media audience.
